About Us

McCord HVAC was founded in June 1996 and became incorporated in September 2008. The owner, Kelly McCord, has devoted most of his life to various facets of the heating and air conditioning business. He earned his State License in 1982 (License No. CN770.459.3883 Conditioned Air Non-Restricted).

With friends and acquaintances frequently calling on Kelly for repairs during his free time, he decided it was time to launch his own company. The early days featured a single service truck, with Kelly setting out to what he does best, fixing things.

In June 2001, Kelly’s son, Josh, who had worked part-time during his school years, transitioned to a full-time role. Josh now leads the installation crew while also handling repairs and troubleshooting. Crystal, Josh’s wife, is the friendly voice you’ll hear when you reach out for service. Kelly's wife, Tricia, joined the team full-time after retiring from AT&T, where she served for 43 years. She will also assist in the office alongside Betty, our Planned Maintenance Coordinator.

We are all proud natives of Villa Rica in Carroll County and are active members of Fullerville Baptist Church, where Kelly serves as a deacon. And just to clarify—yes, that’s the same Kelly McCord who sings tenor and leads "The Servers," a gospel bluegrass band.
